Advancement Genioplasty Utilizing Augma Bond Apatite®
- 19 year old healthy female, was referred with complaints of retrogenia.
- At the age of 17 she had an orthodontic treatment, for 2 years.
- After completion of orthodontic treatment, she was unhappy with the facial and chin appearance.
- At the age of 21 she underwent the insertion of silicone prosthesis by a plastic surgeon.
- She continued to complain about her appearance. She refused to go further orthodontic treatment (currently Angle class 1), so a treatment plan of advancement genioplasty was suggested.
